ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Founded in 1996 by Chairman Mr. Alaa El-Kholy, El-Kholy Contractors and Steel Constructions (ESC) embarked on a mission to completely transform the onshore and offshore construction industries by addressing the unique challenges posed by those types of projects.
Nine years later and in 2005, a sibling company was founded and named El-Kholy for Metal Constructions (EMC). The main purpose of establishing (EMC) as it appears from its name was to focus on steel structures’ business including storage tanks and all types of steel structure buildings.
El-Kholy for Metal Constructions (EMC) has its own workshops to carry out all steel structures projects’ operations starting from projects’ preparations up to finishing touches required before sending to client’s location. (EMC) also has its own fleet of heavy equipment to facilitate operating the company’s projects.
It was the leadership’s vision to refresh the brand image of El-Kholy Contractors and Steel Construction (ESC) by taking away from its name the Steel Construction part to become El-Kholy Contractors (EC) having all steel structures’ business shifted to its sibling El-Kholy for Metal Constructions (EMC). Both sibling companies are operating under one umbrella, the umbrella of El-Kholy Group.

With over 28 years of experience, El-Kholy Contractors (EC) is one of the most prominent contractors in Egypt, serving a diverse range of clients operating in oil and gas fields (onshore, near shore, and offshore), petrochemical and cement factories, electrical power stations, and more.
With its diversified expertise, (EC) has become a preferred contractor to many of both public and private sectors’ clients which helped execute more and more new successful projects, starting from construction of onshore oil and gas production facilities, including pipelines, storage tanks, steel structures, firefighting systems, and all the way down to maintenance projects. This is through the provision of a broad spectrum of contracting services such as piping fabrication, electrical services, technical welding inspections, hydrostatic tests, sandblasting, painting, scaffolding, diving and underwater services, fireproofing, hot and cold insulation, and chemical cleaning…etc.
As for offshore oil and gas production facilities, our company expanded its operations in offshore platforms and pipelines maintenance delivering comprehensive solutions for complex offshore projects. Our company’s expertise extends to high-precision diving services and a broad range of offshore maintenance tasks, ensuring the optimal performance and safety of vital offshore infrastructure. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, El-Kholy Contractors (EC) is poised to set new standards in the offshore industry.
As quality is our inherent deliverable, all projects are executed through a highly experienced group of engineers and technicians trained to the highest levels.
