Description
The project involved the full installation of a 10 km-long pipeline with an 8-inch diameter, designed to transport propylene gas from the port to the plant. It also included the complete installation of a Nitrogen station, all in compliance with the ASME B31.8 code.
The scope of work covered the transportation of the pipes, site preparation, excavation, pipeline laying, welding, tying in, inspection, 100% radiographic testing, purging, and backfilling.
In addition, Polyethylene Shrinkable Sleeves were supplied and installed for covering weld joints and elbows, meeting the requirements of DIN 30670 standards. The project also involved supplying, casting, and forming both regular and reinforced concrete to build the necessary pipe supports.
